Community

Before we had a dedicated community manager at Retool, I co-managed our developer forum, providing technical assistance and triaging user’s questions.

I started a few 1000+ person meetups and held monthly meetings to develop community and connect with others in the space. These included the Sales Engineering Meetup, Marketing Technology Meetup, and the Non-Gaming Virtual Reality Meetup.

I started a co-living house for 11 people in San Francisco’s Mission District. We set up automations for community budgeting, bills, cleaning, community meetings and tenant selection.

As an Applications Engineer at National Instruments, I managed and provided technical assistance on the engineering forum. In doing this, I created documentation and passed feedback on to the engineering org.
